Chygrynskiy returns!
25.07.2010, 22:15 | FFU inform-service, fcdynamo.kiev.ua

Dmytro Chygrynskiy celebrated his comeback to Shakhtar by a victory goal in a match against Zoria Lugansk (1:0), which he scored on the 87th minute. The footballers of Mircea Lucescu got an important three points, which helped them to catch up with Dynamo Kyiv, but at the same time they are still two points behind the leader Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

Shakhtar had an initiative, but after a rare opponent’s counterattack a defender of the hosts Oleksandr Kucher got a red card for the foul at Vitaliy Vitsenets, who could run away face to face with a goalkeeper. In spite of it Zoria went on playing defensive football till the middle of the second half. But then they showed that their attacks can also be dangerous, but in several episodes technical skills spoilt the game. The last word was after Shakhtar players. Douglas Costa made a pass from the right wing and Dmytro Chygrynskiy appeared to be the first near the ball and scored - 1:0. This goal was the first and the last in the match.

On Friday Dynamo Kyiv overcame strong resistance from FC Metalist Kharkiv on Friday to record their second consecutive win of the 2010/2011 Ukrainian Premier League season. The hosts were the first to take advantage, as Brazilian defender Fininho scored on the stroke of half-time but their lead didn't last long. Right after the interval, Dynamo took more control of the game and soon were level with the opponents.

It was team’s captain Andriy Shevchenko who made it all-square with a penalty kick on the 55th minute after a foul on his colleague Roman Zozulya in the area. Unlike the first half, the Kyivers had more chances in the second half and eventually grabbed the lead in the 65th minute thanks to talented youngster Denys Harmash. The 20-year-old midfielder stole the ball from Metalist defender Papa Gueye and made no mistake in front of Metalist goal.
