In a central match of the 9^th round of Ukrainian Premier League Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk hosted Shakhtar Donetsk. On the 25^th minute Srna made a corner pass to the centre of the penalty box and Luiz Adriano, having overcome Cheberyachko, headed a strong shot to the farther upper corner of the rival’s goal. Dnipro leveled the score already in the first half. Maksym Kalynychenko took a strong shot and the ball unpredictably got into Pyatov’s net. In the second period Yevhen Seleznyov clinched Maksym Kalinichenko’s lob. The footballers of Mircea Lucescu managed to make a draw when Tomas Hubschman’s shot in the rebound from Cheberyachko got into Luiz Adriano and he scored double.

Dynamo extended their unbeaten league record to nine matches on Sunday as goal from Andriy Shevchenko sealed a 1-0 win over FC Arsenal Kyiv at the Kolos stadium in Boryspil. His stunning 30-meter free-kick in the 38th minute left former Dynamo goalkeeper Vitaliy Reva helpless and rewarded the team with three points. And, though the hosts upped the gears in search of an equaliser in the second half, Valeriy Gazzaev’s men held on to claim victory.
