On Sunday, August 17, the 5^th round of Ukrainian Premier League was over. It brought the fifth victory without interruption to Metalurh Donetsk. This time they won Zorya Lugansk − 2:0. It allowed the team of Mykola Kostov to keep substantial alienation from the nearest persecutor − Dyanmo − which won in a home match Metalurh Zaporizhya − 2:0. The central match of the round in which Shakhtar hosted Metalist ended with a draw result − 2:2.

Victory step of Metalurh Donetsk
The leader of the championship Metalurh Donetsk got the fifth win without interruption in away match against Zorya Lugansk. From the very beginning of the match Kostov’s team pressed the hosts to their own goal, but managed to open the score only at the end of the first period. Midfielder of Donetsk team Konstantinos Makridis earned a penalty kick which was realized by Portuguese Fernandesh. All questions as to the winner of the match were taken away on the 68^th minute by Sergiy Shyschenko − 2:0.

In the central duel of the 5^th round last year champion Shakhtar and a bronze medal owner Metalist played. In the first half of the game Myron Markevich team didn’t have lots of problems with breaking Shakhtar’s attacks and didn’t also forget to create moments near the goal of their opponent. One of them ended with a free kick. Instead of there were about 30 meters to the goal Koelho was lucky to score a lovely goal. Vitaliy Bordiyan doubled the advantage of his team after he found himself face to face with Andriy Pyatov. In the second period Shakhtar turned on its speed and it resulted in goal. After a rapid pass of Jadson to a free Brandao the forward shortened the lagging. The second goal was scored after Seleznyov earned a penalty kick. Brandao was the one who realized this penalty − 2:2. Draw result stayed till the final whistle.

Easy walk for Dynamo
Dynamo Kyiv didn’t have any problems with Metalurh Zaporizhya on its field. Kyiv players scored a fast goal thanks to a good cooperation of forwards Artem Milevskiy and Ismael Bangoura. Artem gave a lovely pass to Ismael and the last one found himself face to face with goalkeeper and didn’t miss. In the very end of the second period Oleksandr Aliev kicked from a far distance and Vitaliy Postranskiy didn’t cope with the kick − 2:0. After a break Dynamo went on controlling the game and didn’t let opponents to disturb their new goalkeeper Stanislav Bogush.
