Spectacular goal
Close schedule of the tournament affected the content of the game, in which there was no very high speed. Both of the opponents made a lot of mistakes in easy situations and created a little number of moments to score. Polish players almost didn’t disturb Ukrainian goalkeeper Zauri Makharadze, but just they were lucky to score an opener at the beginning of the second period. Our goalkeeper didn’t cope with an ideal shot of Robert Zitarski after a penalty kick.
Reward for insistence
In such situation Ukrainians had to play more actively, but excessive fuss in the final phase of the attacks was in their way. Anyway, constant pressure on the goal of Polish team brought a result. At the very end of the match Shakhtar forward Ivan Lukanyuk got a pass from his club-mate Rostyslav Baghdasarov and directed the ball exactly into the corner of the opponent’s goal − 1:1.
