Like in two previous matches of Victor Bannikov Memorial contest, Ukraine U-16 team failed to net the rivals in the final round of group stage. On Monday, June 9, Oleksandr Holovko’s boys succumbed to Italians − 0:2.
Short of urgency
Until the break Olympiyskiy complex saw equal struggle. Our guys tried to create chances, however they lacked penetration while struggling to get behind the Italian defense. The «blue-yellows» looked like a side short of urgency and ideas. In the second half the Italians managed to speed up and scored twice.
