Ukraine U-21 won a semi-final battle against Montenegro U-21 on 6th of June at Dynamo stadium in Kyiv. Oleksandr Holovko’s team will meet Finland in the final match of Lobanovskyi Cup.
All the most interesting events occurred in starting twenty minutes of the match. Ukrainians began the match, trying to score an early goal, but instead conceded first. In the 6th minute Boris Cmiljanic received the ball in midfield, ran upfield and gave the lead with a long range finish outside from the penalty area.
However, Montenegro didn’t enjoy the early success too long. Within two minutes after the scored goal Ukraine made a tie as Gutsulyak completed the combination with a seven meters volley of the ball into the net.
In the 18th minute Ukraine scored an incredible goal after Zinchenko sent the ball from free kick into the left top corner. Before the final whistle Zinchenko saw himself red carded for the violent behavior.
