On Tuesday, March 29, Ukraine Women’s Under-19 team lost in the second qualifying round of EURO 2010 in Belgium. Oleksandr Masalskiy’s charges took the lead in 29^th minutes after FC Zhytlobud Kharkiv defender Olga Basanska found the net. However, the hosts managed to level the scoring after the break sealing their supremacy with 6 minutes of the time. The defeat means Ukrainian team lost chances to qualify to the final tournament of the European championship.
