Following the 2009/10 UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship second qualifying round draw on Wednesday Ukraine WU17 team has been placed in Group 3 together with Sweden, Republic of Ireland and Poland. The group matches will be hosted by Ukraine.

In the semi-finals on 22 June, the winners of Groups 1 and 2 will meet and the teams finishing top of Groups 3 and 4 play in the other last-four encounter, as per the competition regulations. Four days later the final and third-place play-off will take place on a Saturday for the first time. The top three finishers at the final tournament will qualify for the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago from 5 to 25 September.
