3+2
On Friday, March 10, Ukraine Women's Under-17 team battled out a win in the second EURO 2009 Elite round qualifier in Skopje. After Sweden crushed Ukraine on Wednesday, Mykola Lysenko’s girls didn’t lose faith and geared up earning three points in a clash with the hosts. Odessa CYSS-9 forward Daryna Vorontsova established a hat-trick, Desna Chernigiv forward Oksana Yakovyshyn found her name twice on the scoresheet.

Semi-final lineup
Unfortunately, the ‘blue-yellows’, who will face the Group 1 leader Norway, have got only theoretical chances to settle on the first positin. As last year, the final tournament is a four-team event played at the Colovray Stadium in UEFA's Swiss home town of Nyon from 22-25 June. The semi-finals on the first of those days will match the winners of second qualifying round Groups 1 and 2 − Norway and Spain − while France, who topped Group 4, face Germany in a repeat of the inaugural final won last May by Ralf Peter's German team. The final and third-place play-off take place three days after the semis.
