Ukraine head coach Anatoliy Kutsev revealed his selection for their final UEFA WOMEN's EURO 2009 qualifiers against Portugal and Denmark.

Ukrainians hope to extend their perfect streak to seven wins in a row on Sturday, when they meet Group 5 outsiders Portugal at Chernigov's Yuri Gagarin Stadium. Wednesday's trip to Denmark promise to give Ukraine much stronger opposition as Danish team have the same number of points though having  played one game more. Kutsev selection consists of 22 players, but only 18 of them will depart to Chernigov on Friday.

«Our primary task is to set players free mentally and to recover their physical conditions,» said Kutsev. «The major part of our team plays in busy Russian league. In spite of importance of our match in Denmark we will deploy our strongest selection in Chernigov. However some of them will not play due to some objective reasons. Elena Hodyreva is suspended, Nataliya Zinchenko has thigh injury, while Lyudmyla Pekur is only one week old after she recovered from meniscus removal surgery.»

Victory in Chernigov is a must for Ukraine, while defeat in Denmark will put them equal on points with Danish team. In this case the winner of the group will be decided by the results in their meetings with Denmark. Six winners of qualifying groups will head to Finland without any other tests, while second place holders and four best teams finished third will take part in play-off matches. Only Germany have already qualified besides the hosts. Thus 10 places in the finals are still to be taken.
