Ukraine Women’s national team prolonged its victory row in Euro-2009 qualification after they won Scotland in away match 1:0.
A pinprick of Apanaschenko
Instead of the fact that Ukrainians were in the role of guests they got an initiative from the very beginning of the match and managed to create and realize the first really dangerous moment in this duel. After a corner Daryna Apanaschenko opened the score. Ukrainian team continued pushing and their defenders didn’t let the opponents disturb a goalkeeper Nadiya Baranova. As a result the goal of Apanaschenko appeared to be decisive.
