Defeat for both of these teams by Spain had meant the holders knew they would win Elite round Group 7 in Armenia and go to the finals in the Czech Republic regardless of the Matchday 3 results. But Ukraine have the consolation of second place after two goals from Artem Kravets either side of an Oleksiy Dovgiy strike gave them the three points to add to their win against Armenia.
