Ukraine U-19 team launched its participation in the international tournament Portu-2008 with a drawn result. On Wednesday, March 19, Oleksandr Lysenko’s guys played a draw game with Romanians − 2:2. Ukrainian side scored twice with a help of Karpaty defender Yaroslav Svorak and Dnipro forward Yevhen Konoplyanka.

The ‘blue-yellows’ will face Finland in their next encounter on March 20. The Finns succumbed to the hosts in the first round − 0:1.
