After game comments:

Andrey Talalaev, Russia head coach:

I am happy with the game as well as with the result. The players followed my directions well which made it easier to beat the opponent. It was important not to miss a counterattack and play the football we showed in previous matches. I would also like to mention, despite the common believe, that our group is no weaker than group B. The only fact that both finalists have already played against each other, proves my statement. Now we need to concentrate on recovery of our footballers and be ready to play in the final with full strength. The next game is going to be really hard as Belarus will be looking for revenge. Scouts and coaches will be watching this match selecting the best players on both teams.

Yuriy Moroz, Ukraine head coach:
We are very tired. I understand that everybody is under the same conditions, but looking at my guys, I can say that they are physically and emotionally exhausted. That is why, in my opinion, not every player was able to show everything he is capable of. The fast goal in the very beginning of the second half (30th second) also contributed to the final result of the match. It broke us down. We congratulate Russia with making it to the final and think that they deserve to win.
