On Monday, April 26, Ukraine Under-18 team lost their starting match at Slovakia Cup international tournament. The solitary goal of the game came on 53 minutes.
The tournament features, except competitors of this match and hosts, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Denmark and Croatia. All eight teams are divided into two groups. Seven-placed, fifth-placed and third-placed teams along with the winner will be fixed in play-offs. Slovakia Cup is regarded by Oleksandr Golovko’s team as one of the stages of preparation to the 2011 UEFA European Under-18 championship qualifying that kicks off in October.
