On Monday, March 15, Ukraine U18 team went to Turkey where it is to play two friendly matches against the hosts’ team.

Old acquaintance
All footballers have already been called by Oleksandr Golovko to previous gathering besides Dynamo Kyiv player Maksym Borovets and Vorskla Poltava players Mykola Vechurko and Artem Kozlov. We should remind that in January Ukraine U18 team took part in Valentyn Granatkin Memorial, which was held in Saint-Petersburg, and were the second ones there. During a group round Ukrainians beat Turkey 1:0. Oleksandr Noiok was the one who scored the only goal.

Preparatory stage
Matches in March are one of the preparatory stages for the first qualifying round of 2011 European Under-18 Championship, which starts on October 7 in Sweden. Ukrainian team got into group 4, where it is to compete with the teams of Sweden, Russia and Denmark.
