U-19: trusted squad heading for Ireland | | 18.08.2008, 09:30 | Bohdan Buha, FFU | |  | | On Sunday, August 17, U-19 team of Ukraine went to Dublin to participate in a representative international tournament that starts on Monday. Throughout the competition Yuriy Morozov’s boys will face Spain, Ireland and Portugal on knockout basis.
Six Dynamo players
We remind that our team will stroll to the EURO 2009 U-19 final in Donetsk and Mariupol as a host team. The training session list features 18 names with six Dynamo players and five from Shakhtar. The backbone of the team is formed from boys aged 18. Besides, this time Ireland competition will see no newcomer.
U-18 team squad:
Goalkeepers: Vyacheslav Basylevych (Shakhtar), Bohdan Patsyuk (Zorya);
Defenders: Maksym Biliy, Kostyantyn Voznyuk, Maksym Maksymenko (all from Shakhtar), Dmytro Kushnirov, Temur Partsvaniya (all from Dynamo), Oleksandr Stetsenko (Metalist), Vitaliy Momot (Vorskla);
Halfbacks: Vitaliy Vitsenets (Shakhtar), Denis Harmash (Dynamo), Pavlo Hordiychuk (Karpaty), Arthur Karnoza (Dnipro), Serhiy Rybalka (Arsenal);
Forwards: Vitaliy Kaverin (Dnipro), Dmytro Korkishko, Evgen Morozenko, Serhiy Shevchuk (all from Dynamo).
