Fatal mistake

A little bit later there was an auto goal from Ivan Ordets. The last goal in the match was a closely kick of Oiwind Raid. In another match of the 7th Group Switzerland won Iceland − 2:1.

Ukraine still has chances
In the 2008/09 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying round 52 sides are to begin their quest for seven places in next May's finals in Germany. The top two in each of the 13 qualifying round sections, plus the two third-placed sides with the best record against the leading pair in their group, will progress to the Elite round, which will be drawn on 4 December and played in the spring of 2009. The winners of the seven Elite round sections will join hosts Germany in the final tournament from 6-18 May. So, in spite of a crushing defeat the footballers of Oleksandr Golovko still have chances to enter the next round of the competition.
