U-17: the last rehearsal of Golovko’s team | | 09.09.2008, 13:15 | FFU inform-service | |  | | On Wednesday, September 10, Ukraine U-17 team is to hold a dress rehearsal before a start in Euro-2009 (U-17) qualification. The footballers of Oleksandr Golovko will be examined by their coevals from Romania in Kyiv on National Sport Complex named after Victor Bannikov. The match is to begin at 5 p.m.
Official debut − in Iceland
At the first Euro-2009 (U-17) stage our team got into group 7 the matches of which are to be held in Iceland. Besides the hosts the opponents of blue-yellow will be Swiss and Norwegians. Right from the match with the last ones on the 24th of September the official duels of Ukrainian players are to start. Two best teams from 13 groups and two best third place teams will get into the next qualifying stage.
