On Saturday, August 30 Ukrainian U-17 team played the last match on XXIII International Syrenka Cup tournament which took place in Poland. In the last match the footballers of Oleksandr Golovko were beat by the hosts Poland team − 0:2. Before this match Ukrainians played a draw with Belgium − 0:0, but our opponents were luckier during after match penalties. According to the final results «blue-yellow» team occupied the last 8th position.
«Today we played not so good as in the last match against Belgians, Ukraine U-17 team coach Oleksandr Golovko tells. − It’s a pity, but now we have very short bench. Moreover a lot of debutants appeared to be not qualified enough to play on international level. But it is also experience even if negative. So we have to work further and redeem our mistakes».
