U-16: draw in Crimea | | 04.04.2008, 17:15 | FFU inform-service | |  | | On Friday, April 4, Ukraine U-16 team played in Crimean village Agrarne a friendly match against Turkish coevals. The footballers of Oleksandr Golovko opened the score on the first minutes of the match, but then they let competitors put one goal back and make a draw 1:1.
Goal from Ivanko
The first goal in the match was scored already on the 6th minute with the help of Vitaliy Ivanko who kicked from about 12 meters and made Turkish goalkeeper take the ball out of the gate. But the guest very quickly scored one back. After the corner Elitez won the first floor and headed. Then there were quite a lot of moments to change the score, but neither Ukrainian nor Turkish footballers managed to score.
Preparation for qualification
We remind that the Crimean gathering was one of the stages of preparation for the Euro-2009 qualification (U-17) which will start in September. The next examination for the footballers of Golovko will be Viktor Bannikov Memorial which will be held in June.
