The only goal of Roman Zozulia, who made use of a mistake of Norway’s goalkeeper, helped the team of Myron Markevych to get the third win in succession.
Myron Markevych didn’t take to Norway several leaders of the team, such as Andriy Shevchenko, Oleksandr Aliiev, Artem Milevskiy, Taras Mykhalyk and Andriy Piatov. Instead of them the coach invited the players of Ukrainian Under-21 team. So, the squad of the team was quite interesting and young.
The tempo of the match was very rapid, and blue-yellow team moved a lot during their attacks, but they managed only to make some good distant shots, because the defenders didn’t let them to come closer. Norwegians in their turn created more dangerous moments, but goalkeeper Andriy Dykan was at his best this evening.
The only goal in the match was scored after a free-kick. The Norwegian goalkeeper didn’t manage to fix the ball after a good shot of Yevgen Konoplianka and Roman Zozulia appeared to be the first one to kick into the empty goal. The hosts tried to score at least one goal back, but all their efforts were not successful.
