Mykhailychenko: “To take the last step confidently”
12.10.2009, 21:15 | FFU inform-service

On Wednesday, October 14, Ukraine national team is to play its last match of the World Cup 2010 group tournament against Andorra at Comunal stadium in Andorra La Vella. The match is to start at 6:30 p.m. according to a Kyiv time. (live translations at ‘Ukraine’ and ‘Football’ channels).

Opened training
Before leaving for Andorra Ukraine national team invited the representatives of mass-media to the base of Dynamo Kyiv in Koncha-Zaspa on Monday, October 12. The opened training was preceded by a traditional press-conference of the team’s coach Oleksiy Mykhailychenko.

Minus Tymoschuk and Voronin
“Everything depends on us now. We try to make our guys understand that this deciding match will begin with 0:0 score which is unacceptable for us − said Mykhailychenko in his eternal word. − Today we know that Anatoliy Tymoschuk and Andriy Voronin are sure not to play with Andorra. The first one is disqualified because of yellow cards and the second went to Liverpool because of relapse of his old injury. All the others feel good and are getting ready for the match”.
