On Monday, August 18, Ukraine national team held a traditional opened training session at Dynamo training base in Koncha Zaspa.

Despite the fact that 23 footballers arrived to the camp, it is taken as certainty that in tomorrow’s friendly with Poland Mykhailychenko won’t count on goalkeeper Kernozenko and defender Nesmachniy who suffered injuries. The coach revealed «it’s essential to hold this brief training session in a concentrated and fruitful way so that we avoid mistakes that took place in the May game against Holland. We actually lacked a proper mental and physical preparation».

Four players in reserve
In friendly matches, according t FIFA, it’s allowed to make up to six replacements per game. But Mykhailychenko is sure to bring all footballers to the squad sheet. It remains to be seen who will stay on the bench. «Different situations may occur. Some of the guys won’t play, however we invited them as they make the backbone of the team. We should stick together, look in the eyes of each other and recall the tasks to be completed. The qualifier is ahead».
