On 5 February 2009 adidas and the Football Federation of Ukraine signed a long-term cooperation agreement valid until the end of 2016. According to the new agreement adidas becomes an Official supplier of the sports equipment for all national football teams of Ukraine. Within the framework of cooperation adidas and FFU will unite their efforts for the football popularization of at all levels.
As you know adidas is a FIFA partner in many competitions and activities of the world football community. The company also became the Official licensed supplier of the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.

For many years adidas has been an Official sponsor and the balls supplier for all FIFA and UEFA main football tournaments. Besides, adidas is collaborating with the football federations of the following countries: Argentina, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Nigeria, Spain and South Africa. The last country will host the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The following well-known football clubs like Chelsea, Bayern München, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dynamo Kyiv, Ajax, Olympique de Marseille, as well as the world best football players: Kaka, Lionel Messi, David Beckham, David Villa, Michael Ballack, Steven Gerrard, Raul, Karim Benzema and many others play in adidas kit. The world football administration, FIFA representatives, referees and volunteers wear the company’s goods. In such a way adidas takes part in the game at all levels: from main players and functional outfit for all FIFA referees to clothes for volunteers.
In Europe the company is the official sponsor and the official ball supplier for the European Championship 2006/08 and UEFA Champions League. In Africa adidas provides sponsorship support to African Nations Cup and is the official partner of the Confederation Africaine de Football.
