 |  |  |  | Ukrainian insurance company “Kniazha” | | National “A” team premium sponsor and official insurance partner of the Football Federation of Ukraine |  |  |  | Ukrainian Insurance Company Kniazha was founded in August 2007, as a regional company with a head office in a city called Rivne. A main objective for the company, which was set by the stakeholders from the first days of its foundation: “respectful, proper attitude with clients, and provision of high-quality services”.
On 2 April 2008, The Ukrainian Insurance Company Kniazha was awarded with an honorary status of an Insurance partner of the Football Federation of Ukraine and a premium sponsor of the National “A” Football Team of Ukraine.
It is well known that the Football Federation of Ukraine together with its marketing partner “Ukraine Football International” have formed “The best brand team” , which will support National “A” team during the preparatory process for the participation in European Championship 2012. The Ukrainian Insurance Company Kniazha joined that team, which was presented as a new premium sponsor of the national “A” team and official insurance partner of the Football Federation of Ukraine. In fact, it is the first time FFU has an official insurance partner.

In 1998 the company was accepted into a League of Insurance Companies, and in 1999 UIC Kniazha was granted a status of an associative member of the Motor (transport) insurance Bureau of Ukraine and became a part of the Ukrainian Medical Insurance Bureau Association.
In the year 2001 with the advent of new and powerful shareholders UIC “Kniazha” started an active work on the whole territory of Ukraine. Company`s branches and representative offices were opened in the following cities: Kyiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano − Frankivsk, Mykolayiv, Odesa, Simferopol, Sumy, Kherson, Kirovograd, Chernivci, Uzhgorod, Lugansk, Zaporizzhya. Due to a recruitment of new, qualified, initiative, devoted to its business specialists, employers, the professionalism of the company staff potential has increased. The statutory fund increases for the purpose of providing financial stability and reliability of the Company (year 2001 − 5 mill. UAH, year 2003 − 7.6 mill.UAH), own capital (from 1.2 mill. UAH in the year 2001 till 11.5 mill. UAH in the year 2004).
In the year 2004 the Company's head office moved to Kyiv. The regional network continues to be developed. Now separated subdivisions are created in each Ukrainian regional center (total: 3 directorates and 25 branches).
In the year 2005 UIC “Kniazha” became a member of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, and received a possibility to implement “Green Card”, its own policies of the international transport insurance.
In the year 2005 Ukrainian League of the Insurance Organizations elected UIC “Kniazha” into the board of directors.
In the year 2005 the most powerful Austrian insurance company “Wiener Stadtische”, which owns the control percentage of shares, becomes the main shareholder of the company. The statutory fund increases doubly and makes up 15.2 mill. UAH, own capital reaches 18.0 mill. UAH.
UIC “Kniazha” is a member of the European “Vienna Insurance Group”, which takes a second place due to the capacity of the insurance services, that are provided in the Central and East European countries. UIC “Kniazha” membership in the leading insurance concern guarantees the absolute execution of the insurance obligations.
In the year 2005 by the results of its work UIC “Kniazha” was recognized as the winner of the prestigious all Ukrainian program “Ukrainian Financial Olympus” in the nomination of “Elaboration and realization of the exemplary strategy of the modern insurance company development”.
In the year 2007 “Wiener Stadtische” concern, intensifying its positions on the Ukrainian insurance market increased its part in the “Kniazha” company up to 80%.
A decision to increase the statutory fund up to the 38 mill. UAH was made in the same year during the regular general shareholders meeting of the CC UIC “Kniazha”.
In the year 2007 for the first time in Ukraine UIC “Kniazha” set the insurance program for the cars of any age − “National hull coverage”.
UIC “Kniazha” is the laureate of the contest “Bank and insurance company - reliable partnership” in the nomination “Insurance conditions for the corporate bank clients”, that was staged within the bounds of the Fourth Carpathian Insurance Conference”.
Based on the results of all Ukrainian rating program “Guards. Innovators rating.” in 2007 CC UIC “Kniazha” took 6th place among companies of insurance sector.
On the 29th May 2008 with the support of the UIC “Kniazha” the second part of the Highest sports mastership center in the Schastlyve village, Boryspil region, was opened, which is the Company's special honor (opening of the first part - “Kniazha − arena” stadium, took place in October 2007). Covered with the cupola, a modern stadium with the high quality artificial grass made of 500 seats and has the illumination 300 lux. The differential features of the building are: high safety level, light and radar transparency. This construction is the most massive in Ukraine. It is also unique due to the fact that during the summer heat it does not warm up and in winter it keeps the comfortable temperature. Thus, the stadium which was built for the young village citizens and youth sports school in order to do sports and recreate meets all the ecological standards and security requirements. |
