Ukrainian referees’ supervisor Pierluigi Collina and his assistant Luciano Luci have started working in their Kyiv cabinets in the House of Football. During last weekend they watched all matches of the first round of the Ukrainian Premier League. Italian specialist says that it is too early to give concrete assessments. But he has already noticed that some moments in the work of Ukrainian referees need to be improved.
According to the results of all matches of the first round every mistake was reviewed. Pierluigi Collina sent e-mail letters with video-materials and analysis to referees. Supervisor recommends paying more attention to the punishment as to a rough play and serious fouls in these letters.
At the moment Pierluigi Collina will not debate with any of Ukrainian club, because soon with assistant help of Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) and Ukrainian Football Premier League (UFPL) he plans to meet with clubs’ managers to discuss existing problems directly.
