On Thursday, November 13, the common seminar of two days «The state and the perspectives of school football development» of Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) and the Ministry for education and science (MES) started in the House of Football. It was opened by FFU president Grigoriy Surkis, the first deputy Minister for education and science of Ukraine Oleksandr Hrebelnyk and the Minister for family, youth and sport affairs (MFYS) Myroslav Dutchak who signed the treaty about the cooperation of MES and FFU as for development of school football in general schools during 2009-2012 years.

Appeal for other federations
«Our Ministry is satisfied with the development of the project «Football lesson», − the first Minister for education and science deputy Oleksandr Hrebelnyk mentioned. − And we are very thankful for FFU who is the first among sport federations who carry out a system work for popularization of football and a healthy way of living through physical training lessons. Over four millions of children are taking part in this project and it is perfect! But I hope that such programs will be introduced by other federations. We agree to cooperate with everyone in order to contribute to harmonious physical development of our children».

Rewards from federation
FFU, MES and MFYS confirmed their intentions as to further active support of the project Football lesson by signing of a new treaty about cooperation in school football development in general schools for 2009-2012 years. Besides this there was a presentation of the school football educational computer program during the first part of the seminar which was prepared after FFU’s order. Also the activists of school football development got special rewards and decorations of Football Federation of Ukraine.
