Association of Football Referees of Ukraine and FFU Referees’ Committee received a letter from UEFA with the attached list of referees to serve international matches in the near future.

Universiade for Moseychuk
In particular, Yuriy Moseychuk from Chernigiv has started to referee at the summer Universiade in Serbia from July 1. On Thursday, July 1, Ukrainain referees headed by Viktor Shvetsov from Odesa took charge of the first qualifying round of UEFA Europa League between FC Spartak Trnava from Slovakia and FC Inter from Azerbaijan (2:1). He was assisted by Igor Brytskalo and Mykola Levko with Yuriy Mozharovskiy as a fourth referee.

Europa League awaits for Shandor
Ukrainians have been appointed for the other UEFA Europa League match. On July 9 in Kazakhstan Lviv resident Andriy Shandor will referee the second-leg game between FC Okzhetpes Kokshetau and FC Zimbru Chişinău. He will be assisted by linesmen Vitaliy Ponomaryov and Anatoliy Filevych and Yuriy Grysio as a reserve referee.

Monzul to visit Finland
Furthermore, On July 14 Oleg Orekhov alongside with linesmen Oleksandr Voytuk, Oleg Pluzhnyk and reserve referee Andriy Shandor will set off for Faroe Islands. They are due to take charge of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League between local EB/Streymur and APOEL FC from Cyprus. Kateryna Monzul from Kharkiv hasn’t passed unheeded by UEFA. Therefore she was chosen for the 2009 European Women’s competition in Finland from August 20 to September 11.
