On Wednesday, June 16, a regular FFU Executive Committee meeting was held in the House of Football. Personal membership of strategic development of professional football Board was confirmed and also a compromise was achieved as to overpatching and add-ins to FFU Disciplinary rules. A lot of other important questions according to agenda were considered.
Polemics with Premier League
The first FFU vice-president Sergiy Storozhenko reported that the leader of newly created Premier League don’t agree with some innovations proposed by the National Federation. They relate to overpatching and add-ins to FFU Disciplinary rules and to list of sanctions to judicial and other persons who work or are enabled in professional footbal for violation of statute and regulation documents.
Putting aside innovations
Taking into consideration the situation a compromise decision was taken to hold the first circle of 2008/09 season according to the Disciplinary rules with overpatching and add-ins of the year 2007 which were confirmed by FFU Executive Committee on June 20, 2008. New rules will be used with the beginning of the second circle of the championship after all propositions of Premier League representatives are worked out.
