UEFA.com, the official website for European football, has relaunched for the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying draw and the resumption of the UEFA club competition season − boasting many additional features including two new languages.

Having sought requirements from key stakeholders in the football family, as well as from existing users, UEFA.com has been completely redeveloped, being launched in beta format until the end of the 2009/10 season. The emphasis of the new website has been to update the evolving coverage needed by UEFA and its member associations, and also to make UEFA.com easier to use for both the casual and the experienced user.

The new UEFA.com features an innovative homepage providing thorough coverage of recent, ongoing and future events. The revised structure and navigation also allows dual entry points to the latest information on UEFA.com while specific UEFA-oriented channels offer an easier and more enjoyable experience for all visitors. There is a further stress on addressing current UEFA activities by supplying more relevant background material, as well as the introduction of a dedicated Member Associations section to report and promote activities taking place in each of the 53 national associations.

The relaunch has also given the website an opportunity to look to the future by including Polish and Ukrainian language sites ahead of the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying round draw, thereby increasing UEFA.com's multilingual service to 12 languages. UEFA.com will extend its offering on a month-by-month basis with the aim of having a completely relaunched website for the 2010/11 campaign. Further functionality including streamlined registration, fully integrated video and enhanced search are planned in the coming weeks.
