On Tuesday, June 8, the draw of the VI Students’ EURO took place in the House of Football. The championship will be held in Kyiv, June 20-26, 2008.
Competition for men
16 university teams, compiled of men, will participate in the competition. Three teams will represent Ukraine. Kharkiv Veterinary Academy team − the best team of Ukraine championship − stood at the top of the draw table on host basis. Kharkiv players automatically moved to Group A holding its first number. According to their rating, the teams involved were divided into four groups. Following the rules, the representatives of one country won’t meet each other in group stage.
