Netherlands interested in cooperation | | 08.07.2008, 11:45 | FFU info-service | |  | | On Tuesday, June 8, the House of Football hosted International Economic forum in terms of which business set of the Kingdom of Netherlands took a look at the preparation to EURO 2012 the hosting cities perform, and established cooperation with Ukrainian side.
Honored guests
The delegation, formed with representatives of 24 companies, was headed by the Minister of External Trade of Netherlands Frank Heemskerk. The participants and journalists also listened to the report of Harry Been − General Secretary of the Dutch Football Association, director of the Organizing Committees of EURO 2000, World Cup 2005 (U-20), EURO 2007 (U-21), the member of UEFA Committee for national teams.
Presentations of the hosting cities
The representatives of four hosting cities − Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and Donetsk − made their presentations of investment projects essential for EURO 2012 preparation. Dutch guests were curious about commercial real-estate of Ukraine, sports and transport infrastructure, building of roads and bridges, projects concerning water purification and waste utilization.
Fruitful cooperation
FFU Executive Officer, First vice-president Oleksandr Bandurko summed up the Economic forum and expressed confidence that Ukraine-Netherlands cooperation will prove to be fruitful and bilaterally profitable. |
