UEFA official statement on visit of its delegation to Ukraine | | 03.07.2008, 22:30 | |  | | | UEFA considers the visit of its official delegation to Ukraine useful and informative. Ukraine’s President and Prime-Minister expressed to UEFA their full support of UEFA EURO 2012 and emphasised that the tournament was a national priority project. UEFA acknowledged the fact that the Ukrainian government pledged to do its best in order to create the necessary conditions for successful staging of UEFA EURO 2012. UEFA took stock of the pledges made by the government authorities in terms of stadium, airport, hotel and highway construction. UEFA was pleased to receive new information provided by the Ukrainian authorities, and its experts will analyse these documents |
